TMPGenc Xpress is software that allows us to convert our favorite videos and music with the following formats:
- Audio: MPG, WAV, AVI, QT, ASF, WMA, MPEG
- Video: WMV, AVI, QT, MPG, ASF, MPEG
- Graphic: JPEG, BMP, TGA
Now TMPGenc Xpress includes video editing, which allows you to cut and paste video and images, modify video volume, create PowerPoint like presentations on video which means that you can choose transition animations and background music for each "slide".
Since version 4, DivX, AVI, QuickTime, MPEG 4-ISO, H.264, DVD-Video, DVD-VR, HDV camcorder and Bluray support is available. Version 4.5 enhances those features plus fixing some bugs, a final version is still not available for purchasing or downloading; a test version is available for downloading on Cnet´s download.com.
I tried the test version, it is stable and looks almost like a finished product, system requirements remains the same that previous versions, at least 450 RAM memory available, 1ghz or higher processor speed with SSE instructions and Windows 2000, XP or Vista.
I’m an old fan of TMPG products; this version continues delivering great results!
